Professional & Personal Development Workshops and Courses

These workshops and courses are designed to help you expand your knowledge, grow and develop but also to have fun and get some treatment!
Some workshops/courses need no prior knowledge and are open to anyone. Others of them are for practitioner professional development, and as such require you to have an initial level of skill and knowledge. This will always be indicated in the text.


Up and Coming Courses

Reiki I The first step on the Reiki pathway. An empowering, inspirational course which will provide you with the skills and attunements for you channel the Reiki energy for yourself, friends, family and pets. Over the course you will receive your first Reiki attunements and learn techniques and hand positions for self healing. We also cover healing others, the principles of Reiki, history, lineage and current use. You will have time to practice what you are learning, share your experiences and gain support and guidance.

Reiki II This is for those who have completed Reiki I and want to take the next step on their journey. On this course you will receive your Reiki II attunements, learn the first 3 Reiki symbols and be able to use them during appropriately.

New workshops and course will be happening in the spring. Dates, locations and information will be added as they are confirmed.

MTI Diploma in Holistic Massage with Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology

Karen will be teaching the anatomy, physiology and pathology aspects of the new MTI course running in Worcester from May 2015 with the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. She will share her passion for understanding the workings of the body with a whole new group of therapists.

The new BCMB Worcester Practitioner Training course starts February 2015. Introductory courses in Worcester booking now.

Up and Coming Workshops

New workshops and courses will be available in the spring.

So what do you get in an Intuitive Bodywork workshop?.

Each one day workshop opens with an introduction to the day and each other.
It contains, as you would expect, learning and teaching time but more than this it includes giving and receiving time. On each workshop you will receive at least 2 hours of treatment . That's worth the cost of the course in itself!
On top of all that treatment time you also get a rich workshop pack, full of information, guidance, helpful tips, and little extras to take you beyond the workshop.
Because workshop groups are generally small you get lots of support from the tutor during your learning, you get to have your specific questions answered and you never get lost in the crowd.

Care & Share days

A time to meet other therapists, try out techniques, ask questions, get feedback and guidance, receive some bodywork, make links and find new friends.
Care and share days are a way of nurturing yourself mentally, emotionally and physically. It is a space for exchanging ideas, thoughts, techniques and tips with fellow therapists, for asking questions, exploring answers and finding support, all under the gentle guidance of an experienced facilitator.

A new venue is being sourced and the next Care and Share day will happen in late spring 2015. Please email us your details if you are interested or keep an eye on the 'up and coming' for more details.
